We provide warm, nutritious meals to ensure that our kids have enough energy to grow, learn, and have fun. We provide breakfast and lunch to our kids every Saturday and Sunday; this gives parents and kids a clear and immediate incentive to come to the center, and ensures the kids have enough energy to participate in all the program’s activities.

We provide extra school lessons, tutoring, and individual scholarships to ensure that our kids excel in school and finish their educations. We employ four professional teachers from neighborhood schools to provide lessons and tutoring targeted towards the Kenyan primary school curriculum. The kids are divided into classrooms of 20-25 students to make sure each child gets individual attention to improve academically and to boost their confidence. For the extremely needy families, we provide need- and merit-based scholarships to individual students to support school fees, uniforms, books, and school supplies.

The final ingredient of our program is FUN! We provide our kids with opportunities to play and have fun together, make friends, and take field trips to new parts of Nairobi. Just as important, we give the kids a safe environment where they can play and form emotional bonds with adult role models in the community.
